Adorable Wedding Designs was started in 2007 by its owner Dona; a creative bride who wished there was an easier way to find items that were custom made for her wedding. Dona knew exactly what she wanted for her non-traditional wedding based on a rainbow rosebud theme. Dona tried hiring the "experts" to make her wedding announcements, card holder, and wedding website but all she got in return were false promises, unimaginative ideas from someone else's wedding, or poor quality products.

Frustrated and pressed for time, Dona adopted her can do attitude and made all of the products featured in the Adorable Wedding Designs store for her wedding. Dona's dream wedding was a smash and everyone was so impressed with Dona's creations! Other brides received word about Dona's wedding and asked Dona to make personalized stationery, card holders, and websites for their weddings. Even some of Dona's wedding vendors were amazed with her creations and encouraged Dona to open her own event planning store. Alas, Adorable Wedding Designs was born!
